Mychelle's is trusted and family-owned custom alterations studio in Manassas, Virginia. The business was found by husband and wife duo, Johnny & My Pham in 2015—specializing in bridal alterations, formal alterations, and handmade accessories.
My is a trained seamstress with decades of experience creating, designing, and altering all types of garments. The couple shares a deep passion for their craft. Understanding the needs of their customers is always #1 on the priority list.
Our humble roots began in the garage of Johnny & My's home. My became one of the most esteemed seamstresses among the Manassas locals. Thanks to the support of our incredible clients! We opened our first storefront in 2019, located in Manassas, Virginia--and it's safe to say, we never looked back.
Today, we have an incredible team of expert seamstresses and fashion designers. We look forward to continuing our journey. We’re eternally grateful for the amazing support and feedback from our customers. We'll continue to provide the same quality service that has earned us the title of VA most trusted seamstress.

Get to Know the Founder Behind Mychelle's
My and Johnny first got a taste of fashion from their mothers. Johnny's mother was a famous fashion designer and incredibly talented seamstress. My's mother, who was also a skilled seamstress, owned a bridal shop in Vietnam. The couple bonded over their mom's shared love for design and fashion, inspiring them to continue with their families' matriarchal traditions.
JOHNNY NGUYEN

Johnny Nguyen worked as a Presales Solution Architect at Intelligent Decisions for 20+ years before ultimately deciding to retire from the IT field in 2016. Now, Johnny handles the back-end side of the family-run business.
He may not be so crafty with a needle and thread, but you can always count on him to have a welcoming smile on his face when a client walks into the Manassas studio.

My is a trusted designer and seamstress based in Manassas, VA. My started sewing, designing, and crafting fashionable garments at the age of 12 alongside her mom, an award-winning seamstress.
My retired as a bridal consultant and seamstress from Jeanette’s Bridal Boutique in 2016. My is the head designer and seamstress at her alterations studio now.
